Undivided Mom - Buy Now!

If you’ve got motherhood all figured out, this book isn’t for you. Carry on.

If you’re one of the rest of us, struggling through the miracle, you’re in the right place, friend.

Undivided Mom is a devotional for moms who feel distracted, pulled in a million different directions, and really just desperately need Jesus to keep them from losing their ever-loving minds. It’s about mothering with a vision, with a purpose, for His glory, and through His strength. (In real life, not in the fairy tale land where kids are well-behaved and you always get enough sleep. Ha.)

Each day alternates between a devotion based on scripture from the book of Luke, with questions for deeper thought, and a devotion based on life experience. They are short, easy reads, perfect for moms on-the-go.

This is a book for anyone who is longing to find a glimpse of Christ in the chaos of everyday motherhood.

It’s for you. For me. For all of us.

(Except for those moms who have it all together. It’s not really for them.)

(Except they don’t, so it is.)

See what people are saying about Undivided Mom…

This devotional book was just what my heart needed. I love the format – relevant (and funny!) stories that lead you to key questions to contemplate with scripture. A perfect devotional for your morning or naptime quiet time. So very encouraging and challenging at the same time! – LeeAnn

Kayse writes like she’s your friend, right there in the trenches of motherhood with you. She’s real, she’s encouraging, and she gets the struggle. It is full of stories, easy-to-digest truths, and practical wisdom. I walked away from this read with a handful of things I wanted to put into practice, that I could put into practice, now. – Amanda

With scriptures and funny stories, Kayse will inspire you to become undivided as a mom and a wife. This is a must have for all moms! – Laura

While reading parts of it, I almost thought Kayse had planted a bug in my house! She includes relevant scripture, humorous stories, and TRUTH!!! – Kelly

Kayse helps bring motherhood to a place where we can all relate and gives inspiration to keep moving ahead even when things are hard. – Susan

Kayse has created a fun and encouraging devotional for a busy mom like myself who wants to make better use of her time but yet needs daily encouragement. – Kristin

What I love about Kayse is her refreshing honesty. She is encouraging, yet honest about her own struggles in being an undivided mom. This is a great read for busy moms who may not have long chunks of time to spend. – Rosanne

Confessions of a recovering perfectionist: If I do Confessions of a recovering perfectionist: If I don’t plan my rest, it doesn’t happen.

For years, I thought rest would just… happen. But the truth is, it won’t.

Not in our hustle culture.

Not when productivity is worshipped and busyness gets a gold star.

God made us with limits on purpose. And He gave us the gift of rest!

So for me, making rest a reality means means making it practical:
🗓 I schedule it into my planner every month.
💛 I choose activities that actually refresh my mind, body, and heart.
🙏 I treat it as important as work.

Try it for yourself: Write down your own rest ideas, then schedule them weekly this month. I promise - it’ll change your pace and your peace!

Share this with a friend who needs some realistic ideas for rest, too!

P.S. This is Step 3 of our Anchored Life Framework - I’ll walk you through all 4 steps in the Finding Your Balance Workshop on Aug. 26th. Get the link to RSVP when you comment BALANCE below!
I used to keep my to-do list in about 12 different I used to keep my to-do list in about 12 different places - sticky notes, my phone, the corner of a notebook, my brain.

No wonder I felt behind all the time!

Now I run our home from ONE Master Checklist. Everything we need to do fits into ⬇️
* Daily Habits (the little things I want to remember each day)
* Weekly Habits (routines that keep life running)
* Monthly Projects (one-off tasks I don’t want to forget)

This simple shift has saved me HOURS and so much mental energy!

Want to try it for yourself?
🖊️ Write down all your tasks
🎨 Highlight them as Dailies, Weeklies, or Monthlies
☑️ Organize the tasks by category
📌 Post the list somewhere you’ll see it, and check things off as you do them!

I used to think saying “yes” to everything mad I used to think saying “yes” to everything made me a good friend, wife, and mom.

But really? All it really made me was…exhausted.

Now, when I'm trying to find some balance in our daily life, I start with our calendar - because if our schedule is out of control, everything else will be too.

Here’s what’s working for us as a family right now:

1️⃣ One master calendar // Shared with Jon, of course, so we’re always on the same page.
2️⃣ Color coding (IYKYK) // One color per person makes everything visual and clear.
3️⃣ Make it visual // I still put everything on a big paper calendar that hangs in our kitchen so I can see the whole month at once.
4️⃣ Protect the margin // Rest days, family nights, and church on Sunday are all non-negotiables.

These 4 steps help me keep the calendar in check, and the balance in our home a little more...well, balanced!

Want to hear more of what's working for me right now? I'll share a few more tips throughout the week, AND a ton more in next week's free workshop!!

You’ve got this, friend!
This was a SUPER CUTE tea station not too long ago This was a SUPER CUTE tea station not too long ago.

But school starts tomorrow and we needed a space for homework + backpacks, so here we are!

📲 Charging station for all devices because those babies don’t go into bedrooms, period.

🖍️ Planter cups for every kind of pen or pencil or marker a student could possibly want.

🌼 Flowers for me because I cannot get enough of cut flowers in my 40’s. I LOVE THEM.

This space is right between our kitchen and dining table. Is it the cutest ever? No, it’s not. But it’s super functional and keeps our priorities top of mind - no screens upstairs, family time in the evenings even if that includes homework, our house is meant to be lived in, not photographed.

As the school year starts, ask yourself: “What can I do to make our spaces more functional? What activities do we need to be able to do here? How can I make that even easier?”

Function over fashion. I promise it’s worth it!

Alright, let's talk back-to-school meal prep!

With school starting soon (today for my kids! 😭), the mental load of meal planning kicks up fast - but I’ve found a few simple things that help me stay sane:

🍎 Create a Lunch Station.
This little cart makes packing lunches super easy, and kid led. I have a sign that notes what exactly they need to pack, and that makes the next tip pretty genius ⬇️

🧃 Teach the kids to pack their own lunches
They can grab what they need from the fridge, pantry, or lunch station when they know what to look for. We keep things super simple - think fruit, protein, and one treat.

🥪 Freeze-ahead sandwiches
PB&J on sourdough freezes beautifully when you put the peanut butter on both sides with the jelly in the middle - no soggy bread! We make a week’s worth and toss them straight into lunchboxes frozen. Ready by noon!

📋 Use the whiteboard
We write out dinners, leftovers, and grab-n-go options so everyone knows what’s available - and I don’t have to answer “What’s for dinner?” 14 times.

What’s helped YOU simplify meals during the school year?

👇 Bonus tip: Our Back To School Prep Pack has worksheets for planning easy breakfasts, lunches, and dinners - perfect for this season! I'll send you the whole pack for free when you comment SCHOOL below!
Ever feel like keeping your family’s schedule st Ever feel like keeping your family’s schedule straight requires a full-time assistant? 😅

Same.

But over the years, we’ve landed on a calendar system that’s simple, visual, and actually works - without needing a fancy command center or another trip to Target!

Here's our 4-part calendar setup that helps us stay sane during the school year:
1️⃣ Digital calendar (with alerts!)
2️⃣ Paper calendar everyone can see
3️⃣ Color-coding that keeps it clear
4️⃣ A whiteboard that saves my brain (and diverts all "what are we doing today?!" questions)
