Day 21: Praying For a Right Understanding of Salvation
Scripture: For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; cit is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them. Ephesians 2:8-10
Prayer: Lord, give my children a right understanding of salvation, that they have been saved by the faith you’ve given them, and not by any of their own works. Help them to always place their faith in you, instead of in their own power and productivity. Remind them that any good works they do have been prepared by You and bring glory only to You, and that they are blessed to be able to walk in them.
Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will hear you. You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart. Jeremiah 29:12-13
