My current planner setup! (EVERYTHING I currently use.)
Hey friends! Today I’m giving you a peek inside my planner to show you exactly what I’m using, and how I have everything set up. I hope you enjoy this photo tour!!
We’re starting right at the beginning – with the cover! I’m using our Light Blue Floral cover ⬆️, with a pocket sticker on the inside cover to hold all my stickers. ⬇️
SECTION 1 // MY PERSONAL PLANNER
I have my planner divided into two sections – personal and work. The first section starts with my Yearly Prep! I love this at-a-glance page for big-picture tracking all the important stuff throughout the year – school dates, birthdays, and more.
My goal-setting pages come after that, with space for goals in 6 categories – faith, finances, personal, relationships, wellness, and work! I use the right page for brainstorming and the left page for finalizing my goals for the year.
I will go through these pages again before the summer begins, as my goals from the beginning of the year need a little resetting!
My quarterly planning pages ⬇️ are some of my very favorite. They give me time + space to slow down and make some intentional plans before I jump into a new season. Taking some time to reflect on the past season + refresh my goals for the season ahead gives me a MUCH clearer view of what’s needed in the next 90 days.
Plus, you KNOW I love making a good seasonal meal plan! (I wrote a post all about how I do that here!)
Alright, we’re into monthly planning! I start my month by writing ev.er.y.thing out on this two-page spread. It’s big enough for me to fit everything into those giant boxes, and having it all written out helps me see where there’s margin…and where there’s not!
Following my monthly calendar + prep pages, I keep my weekly layouts for the whole month. I’ve been using the Weekly Time Block Layout ⬇️ since the beginning of the year, but as our schedule (and my work life) gets a little busier, I needed to make a switch…
… to our Hourly Layout, followed by the Prioritized Daily Layouts.
I use the Hourly Layout to see an overview of the week, track my daily habits, and write out my lists of prayers, priorities, home tasks, and work tasks. It’s that big picture view of the entire week that I need when life feels overwhelming.
And then I follow that weekly overview up with the Prioritized Daily! These are the pages where I spend my days – writing out my schedule on the left, and then organizing JUST that day’s to-do’s into three categories: Must Do, Should Do, and Could Do.
This helps me to get as much done each day as possible, without stressing about anything else during the rest of the week. One day at a time, one task at a time!
SECTION 2 // MY WORK PLANNER
The back section of my planner is allllllll focused on Anchored Women. I have a clear divider page set in there to create an obvious new section!
I start this section with another Year-At-A-Glance page. But this time, I use it to plan out my sales and events for the entire year.
Next up, some tracking pages! I use these to track our most important monthly stats, along with our income streams, trying to ensure that our bottom line is in the black each month.
Next up – content planning!
I use our one-page calendars to plan out our blog posts and emails, across from my personal monthly checklist with all of my to-do’s for that month.
I’ve tried much more detailed planning for work, but this is what works best for me! A monthly task list, across from my monthly content plan. I put a little colorful dot in the corner of each calendar day, and check it off once that post is written and scheduled. Everything for the month, across two pages!
And then, last but certainly not least, is my giant section of notes pages! I use these for everything from braindumping to taking meeting notes – for both personal and work notes. I could not live without this huge section of blank pages in my planner!
Other pieces I’ve used in the past //
- Project Planning Pages – especially when I’m working on a big home or work project, I’ve used these pages specifically to break that project down into smaller pieces. These pages are golden!
- Monthly Prayer Pages – these are inside our Faith Planning Pack, and I’ve used them to track prayer requests each month, and keep them top of mind so I’m praying all month long! (I use a different prayer journal now, but this was a great system, too!)
- TONS of pages from the Business Planning Pack – I switch up my business planning pages all the time, adding in what’s needed in each season! This is one of my favorite packs.
Accessories I use + love //
- Dividers (Inkwell Press) – I love these dividers because they are clear, so I can see our pretty divider pages through them!
- Rose Gold Discs (Inkwell Press) – These are my FAVORITE discs, because they are so smooth. That really makes a difference when you’re turning pages. Plus, they are metal, so they hold up for.ev.er. (Unlike the plastic discs!)
- Colored Circle Stickers (Erin Condren) – I love these on the Year-At-A-Glance pages for sticking over dates on the calendar! They are see through so you can still see the date, but it’s a fun way to color-code special events! (Yellow for birthdays, Green for days of school, etc.)
- Dot Markers (Amazon) – Perfect markers for making a circle that you can check off when you complete a task!
- Zebra Mildliners (Amazon) – Just my favorite highlighters ever. I love these and will sing their praises forever!!
And there you have it! My current planner setup that merges work life and my personal life, all into one comprehensive book! This is what’s working best for me right now, though I’m sure I’ll change it up again before the year’s up – which is why I LOVE our S.O.S. Planner! So many ways to customize it!
