I’m not sure if it’s the changing weather or the back to school vibe, but fall feels like a fresh start. It’s the perfect time for a home reset before the holiday decorating begins. Here’s a roundup of products that will help you welcome fall with a sense of order and ease!
KITCHEN
After about the hundredth time that I opened my cabinets only to be deluged by the Pan Avalanche, I went on a hunt for the perfect pan storage solution. This organizer rose to the top because of its versatility- it can be used vertically or horizontally, depending on your space.
The area under my sink used to be where cleaning products were lost to the ether, never to be seen again. I love this organizer because the top basket sits just a little to the side, avoiding the pipes and garbage disposal but still making use of the vertical space. Now I can see the Clorox wipes as soon as I open the cabinet door.
How do we have so many water bottles? With six people in our family and different uses for each one, the bottles pile up quick. This organizer makes them easy to find and store. Perfect!
LIVING ROOM
I love this shoe cabinet. Not only does it get the shoes off the floor and out of the entryway, it’s also super cute. Plus it holds SO MANY SHOES- my family of six can fit just about all of our tennies and sandals, not to mention a few pairs of dress shoes.
These bookends are as sturdy as they are adorable and help keep my bookshelves tidy and in order. They are also great for separating and supporting puzzles and board games so you can keep your favorites close by without it looking like a rec center game closet.
I’m in love with this ottoman. It’s the perfect marriage of blanket basket and ottoman, adding storage to your living room without adding clutter.
BEDROOMS
Sometimes I think my husband’s hats are multiplying in the closet. What makes it worse is that hats are so hard to store nicely. They’re a funny shape and difficult to stack with other items. Adding one of these the end of your closet can free up a ton a space and keeps your hats in top condition.
Anyone with kids knows the trials of stuffed animal storage. This storage bin fits nicely in a corner and has a bright top that makes it feel like the animals are in a circus!
My nightstand (and floor and ottoman) is usually covered it books, which can make it tricky to use for normal nightstand-y things, like my cup of tea or phone charger. This organizer is super handy and can hold up to three or four books depending on the weight, along with my phone and watch chargers, leaving plenty of room for my tea. And more books.
OFFICE
I like to use a big planner which can take up quite a bit of real estate, by using this planner stand I can easily glance at it from whatever I’m working on and it keeps my desk clear. Win win!
Another great way to keep your desk clear is to stick things on the wall! I wish I would have thought of this sooner. I’m a huge fan of vertical storage and I love how I can still see everything- great for my ADHD brain- but it doesn’t clutter up my desk.
This magnetic cable buddy snaps my chargers and cables into place, keeping my desk neat and my sanity intact. And also feeding my love of sticking things on the wall.
