A Prayer Challenge for Moms – Starting March 1st!

Nathan climbed into my bed early this morning and whispered in my ear, “I jus’ wuv you, momma.” And then he smiled at me, snuggled into my arms and fell fast asleep.

It’s moments like that when my heart is so full of love for my family, that I feel like I can see life clearly. I can see what really matters. Faith and family. Not to-do lists or chores or busy schedules.

So this month, when so many people are getting ready for spring cleaning, we’re going to stop and focus on what really matters.

We’re going to spend the month praying for our families.

Praying for my family is something that’s always on my heart. Specifically, I’ve been growing more and more convicted about praying SCRIPTURE over my family. Praying specifically for my children, for my marriage, and for my role as a wife and mom.

I am convinced that this sort of prayer – prayer based on God’s Word – is essential for all of us hoping to grow gospel-centered families. And so, I’ve created a resource for us, to lead us through a prayer for each day this month.

Every day, you’ll find a passage of Scripture & a prayer to pray. These verses and prayers will show up here on the blog, but you can also sign up to get them delivered straight to your inbox. And when you do that, you’ll also get each day’s verse and prayer as a complete set of printable prayer cards!

We’ve done this once before as a community, a few years ago. But God’s Word remains true, and I’m excited about doing this again! I hope you are, too.

Nothing is more powerful than God’s Word. My prayer for all of us this month is that as we spend time in Scripture and lift up our families to the Lord, our own hearts would be changed as well, and made more like His.

When do we start?

  • The challenge will officially start March 1st! You’ll get the first email that day, or you can find the first post here on the blog. (If you’re signing up after March 1st, the challenge will begin the day you sign up!)

What do I need?

  • A Bible would be great, but really, all you need is to subscribe to the blog! When you sign up below, you’ll immediately get a set of printable prayer cards to download and print. Then, you’ll get each day’s email, with everything you need, beginning March 1st.
