Fall back into Bible Study!
I don’t know about you, but I cannot believe it’s already October.
It might not feel like Fall yet here in Southern California, but Trader Joe’s is full of Pumpkin EVERYTHING, so clearly, it has arrived.
And do you know what else has arrived? Our October Scripture Study Plan!!
I’m so thrilled to jump back into our monthly studies, and I hope you are, too! This month we’ll be studying the books of Ruth and Esther – two powerful stories of God’s salvation, redemption, and provision. I’ve spent the last few weeks in these books, and I’ve been so moved by the obvious presence of God in the midst of seemingly impossible situations.
I don’t know about you, but I need that right now – a little hope in the middle of some things that seem impossible.
So I really hope you’ll join us for this study. It’s totally FREE, and you can access your plan by entering your information below!

A few important updates to this month’s Scripture Study Plan:
1. NEW FORMAT.
I’ve added another dimension to the plan, and I think you’re going to love it. Instead of just 1-2 verses each day, as plans have been in the past, I’ve included a short passage of Scripture to read each day, and then pulled a key verse or two out of the passage. This way, we’re working through 1-2 books of the Bible a month, gaining so much understanding as we read in context!
Each day, there’s a passage of Scripture noted for you to read, plus one key verse from the passage for you to write out. If you’re short on time, you can just write out the Scripture, or just read the passage. Either way, you’ll be spending crucial time in the Word every day!
2. CORRESPONDING MORNING JOURNAL!
As always, the free study plan comes with a journaling page. However, it also pairs well with our brand new BLANK Simple Start Journal!
The Simple Start Journal is a morning journal for busy women who help developing a simple, meaningful routine each morning. It gives you a two-page spread for each day:
- On the first page, a place to take notes on a passage of Scripture & a place to write out a key verse from that passage (see how it works beautifully with our Scripture Plans?!).
- On the second page, a place for prayers, a place to narrow down your priorities for the day, and a short workout for you to complete!
Three key areas – Scripture, priorities, and wellness – to make a simple but meaningful morning plan!
We released the Galatians & Ephesians version of the Simple Start Journal a few months ago. But last week, we added a blank version to our shop!
We’re calling it the blank version because instead of having the Scripture passage and key verse written out for you (as seen above), there’s a blank space for you to indicate which passage and verse you’re working on that morning. (Workouts are still all written out for you!)
So, with this new blank journal, you’ll be able to write in each day’s passage and key verse, as indicated on our free October study plan. And not only that – you’ll also be able to print it off to use again and again – every month!

I hope you love this combination as much as I do. I can’t wait to dive into a new study plan AND a fantastic morning routine with you! Grab your free Scripture Plan below!

Kayse Pratt serves Christian women as a writer + designer, creating home + life management resources that help those women plan their days around what matters most. She’s created the most unique planner on the market, helped over 400 women create custom home management plans, and works with hundreds of women each month inside her membership, teaching them how to plan their days around what matters most. When she’s not designing printables or writing essays, you’ll find Kayse homeschooling her kids, reading a cheesy novel with a giant cup of tea in hand, or watching an old show from the 90’s with her husband, who is her very best friend.
Are workouts repeated throughout the planner, or are they all unique throughout the weeks?
