I always worked & been a Sun. school teacher. After our 2nd son, my husband was disabled. 4 years ago, things really got hectic. My husband got cancer close to Brent’s 15 bday. Took 8 surgeries, 12 wks hyperbaric chamber treatments, & 10 wks radiation to cure him. On Brent’s 16 bday, I had a minor stroke. Few mos later, I was back at work, all okay. Lo & behold, near Brent’s 17 bday, I got breast cancer. Had surgery & radiation, all okay until 5th mo. of chemo my world chgd forever. I had a severe chemical allergic reaction to the chemo. Came close to dying twice & neuro testing showed I would never walk again to which God has chgd. I spent almost a year in & out of hospital, to which in & out was sometimes only hrs apart. So now, a yr later, I am walking with a walker – only falling a couple of times a wk now – starting to feel my hands & feet some – can write legibly (sorta) – don’t stutter quite as bad – so things are really looking up. I did have to quit working & go on disability & had to quit teaching Sunday School (my hardest, most painful endeavor yet) but now I can go to both a Sunday School class (with people my age) & church services. Oh, Brent turned 18, graduated high school, joined the Army & is currently in Fort Jackson, So. Carolina & soon to be transferred to Fort Lee, Virginia. So why do I want to be an Anchored Woman. The answer is very simple! I have a new life to adjust to being an Anchored Woman with God by my side.

I bought your planner last year and I love it. We had to move in and out of our home several times over the past year because of mold issues and I wasn’t able to make use of the planner like I wanted to. (We couldn’t take anything with us, so I left my lovely planner at home.) This year, as we try to finally get back into our home, I would love to make better use of my planner and the other anchored woman resources you are offering. Thankfully, our life is anchored in Christ, so no matter where we are living as a family, we are secure. However, our physical and daily lives have been quite topsy-turvy with moving in and our of our home, throwing away dumpsters worth of belongings, and dealing with major health issues and financial issues that come with all of this. I would love to see our lives more organized, settled, and peaceful in the coming year. I would love to win this give-away! Thank you for offering it!

  93. Katelyn P says:

As a SAHM and wife to a husband who works insanely hard, I have realized how much my attitude and such drastically effects the rest of my household. I need to be an anchored woman for the sake of not only myself, but my family. I need to be a resting place for my husband when he’s home and I need to be teaching my kids these things so they don’t have the same struggles as they grow up.

  94. Love the new name! I am ready to be more organized, have more time with my family and do what I do in my home with grace.

  95. I can’t wait to see the new planner!

  96. Love this! I think it’s so easy to get carried away with the things we need to do that we forget why we need to be doing them. I think it’s perfectly right to readjust and refocus and we should all do that every once in a while to make sure we are honoring God in our life! I am excited for your new endeavors!

  97. Melissa Moore says:

I would like to be an “anchored woman” in order to be a good example to my son. For example, it is so ironic (and sad) when I hear myself very impatiently saying, “Be patient!” to him. I do not want him to grow up with a stressed and harried momma and to think that is a normal way for a Christian to live.

  98. Kirsten Watts says:

This is absolutely beautiful. I love love love the new direction. Because everything that you’re saying is SO TRUE! I pray evernight to help me stay “anchored” in him throughout my day.

  99. Amanda Henderson says:

So, why do I want to be an anchored women? Wow, well, you should see my house right now: clothes everywhere, I can’t see my counters, legos and crumbled up cheese it’s, my kids are never dressed and my kids on screens way to much. You should hear my frustration with a lack of plan. Living with no structure and depressed about it. Not only
So I know my life is in chaos right now but I know it is not God honoring. I feel like I can’t get any control and it makes me want to give up. I have a hard time with consistency because I put all this work into be planned out then something goes haywire and all that work feels in vain. I am excited to see my work pay off

  100. I think this is a great change.

  101. I absolutely adore the new look! I love focusing on the daily habits through eternal eyes. That is what makes all of the crazy matter!

  102. I love the new focus you’ve developed for your site. The one that resonates most with me is less options more action. I’m a perfectionist who gets overwhelmed by all the things to do and all the ways to do them. God bless in this new shift Kayse!

I have been “playing” and “dreaming” of becoming Intentional and Anchored for over a year, when my husband became the Pastor of a church in Northern Michigan and we moved 8 hours away from our family. It took me a few months to get your planner when I found it. I still haven’t implemented and began a full time job in January. With 2 young kids, a full time job, and a being a Pastor’s wife, I NEED to find organization, but what is most important is being Anchored in Christ! I am excited about the relaunch and focusing on Christ about ALL!
