  1. Thank you so much for writing this post! I am very aware that I’ve been living like a crazy person, putting things first that are not in line with my priorities. All of the “I have to do this” or “I should get this done” things, and not the truly important things-like reading my Bible every day, really truly praying to God every day, or really connecting with my family. I am the sole provider of income for us, and that can put a lot of pressure on–and I need to always remember to take it to God first, and he will lead me according to HIS plan. And he will provide! Thank you thank you thank you for being honest and putting this out there 🙂

  2. Kayse,
I read your posts sometimes at midnight, 3 a.m., whenever God is trying to get my attention. And He is doing it through you. I believe we all are messengers, meant to share His word, but oftentimes in a different way that wakes us up and reminds us of what and who truly matter. I am guilty of neglecting my kids to mow the grass, do the dishes, laundry, and so forth. While all of these chores are necessary, that aren’t priorities and shouldn’t come before my family, or my Lord. We are all given a specific amount of time to live our lives, and with God’s help, and guidance from Christians, I pray that the choices I make will reflect His glory, His grace, His wisdom, and His love. Thank you for insightful posts that encourage me in my daily walk.

Thank you for doing what Jesus expects of us; honest living not a facade. You are not alone. But in sharing I am pretty sure God is changing hearts, mending lives.
I read a quote once that said we are all broken, we all need grace. Grace = Jesus!
I know I buried myself in my work to stave off pain of rejection at home. He had to take me to the edge of that proverbial cliff with one foot into the abyss to realize that what I sought for the people in my lives needed my working at it in His grace with His love.
I no longer have the huge income I once did but I do have my family back and He is using this mess of a person for His people. (He has a habit of doing that??) I am humbled and grateful. He reigns and in this season of doing without so I can be with Him and my family is priceless. God bless you. You have a beautiful family they are His blessings. Love them and He will be glorified and your souls longing will be fulfilled. He works in ways we will never understand. He is your Jehovah Jireh and He will provide. I know my faithful Jesus, I see Him do it every day in my life.

  4. Thank you so much for your honesty in your posts! I needed to read this today.
